This section of Dr. Shannon's website is devoted to Case Studies. We present case studies on the left hand side that show minimal to full reconstructive work. In each case study there is a write up that includes what the patient presented and our solution that addressed their concerns while achieving sound dental practices.

Erin presented with a number of concerns. She was unhappy with her teeth; they were worn, discolored, and uneven. She was also concerned about her gummy smile. After listening to all her concerns, we took study models, photographs and also crafted an aesthetic wax-up to show Erin what we could achieve, Erin came back and we reviewed the process that would be required to help her achieve her desired result.

The treatment included a visit to the periodontist for a soft tissue smile life that helps to improve soft tissue symmetry, balance and proportion. After six weeks to allow the tissue to heal, we did a prosthetic treatment that included eight anterior ceramic veneers.
