Dr. Andrew Shannon, B.Sc. D.D.S. Dr. Andrew Shannon is a 1987 graduate of Dalhousie University School of Dentistry, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He maintains a full-time private practice in Vancouver, British Columbia with a primary focus on comprehensive aesthetic restorative dentistry.
Dr. Shannon currently lectures throughout North America on Mastering Posterior Esthetic Restorative Dentistry, provides an in-office Over-The-Shoulder Program, and runs a workshop from the office entitled Techniques to Ensure Restorative Excellence. He was selected to sit on a number of editorial boards. Dr. Shannon has also been a part-time clinical instructor to a number of post- graduate clinical programs in the area of Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry at institutions including Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas, the University of Kentucky, and New York University.
He is one of 15 accredited members in Canada and one of 175 members in North America, and the founder of the Western Canadian Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
His focus of study has been on anterior and posterior aesthetics. He has placed more than 15,000 indirect aesthetic restorations since 1992. He now shares his acquired knowledge and skill with experienced clinicians and dental students alike in a fashion that insures that they will be able to implement the step-by-step techniques into their practices immediately with clinical success. |
