Dr. Shannon, Carole, and Jennifer have worked together for many years. Andrea joined our team this past September to fill in for Stacey who went on a maternity leave and has since decided to move to Nova Scotia. Carole is Dr. Shannon’s capable assistant, Andrea is our in house hygienist and Jennifer is our treatment coordinator. Please read on to learn more about their credentials and something interesting about them personally.

Dr. Andrew Shannon, D.D.S.
Dr. Shannon is only one of four dentists in British Columbia and one of only 250 dentists in the world who has been accredited by the prestigious examining board of the American Academy for Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). An Accredited Member of the AACD has completed extensive advanced training and education in cosmetic dentistry and has demonstrated a very high level of technical skill and ability in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Shannon is also the founder of the Western Canadian Chapter of the AACD.

Carole, CDA
Carole is a Certified Dental Assistant who graduated from Douglas College in 1988. Carole has been working full time in dentistry since then and has been working with Dr. Shannon since 1992.
Carole is licensed with the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, and is a member of the provincial and federal dental assistant organizations, CDABC and CDAA.
The great number of advancements and uses of technology in dentistry has always kept Carole's interest in her field.
Carole enjoys outdoor sports and has discovered a newfound appreciation for wine. She also loves spending her time with her son and husband, Tony. |

Andrea, RDH
Andrea is a new addition to our team. Stacey left to raise a family in Nova Scotia after fourteen years with Dr. Shannon. We welcome Andrea and look forward to getting to know her. |

Jennifer, Treatment Coordinator/CDA
Jennifer graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting program at the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Technology (SIAST) in Regina Saskatchewan in 1996. She worked in family practice in Regina for five years before moving to Vancouver in 2001. Jennifer has worked with Dr. Shannon since 2001.
Jennifer's assisting skills, interest in technology and desire to expand her dental knowledge are proving extremely valuable in her role as treatment coordinator. She is available to answer any questions you may have regarding your dental treatment, upcoming appointments or any other inquiries.
