The Work We Can Smile About To appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of the work we perform, we have this portfolio for you to view. On each of the highlighted words, you can link to see before and after pictures of that particular dental concern corrected or choose from the list of dental concerns from the left hand side bar.
Bleaching: You wouldn't wear that stained shirt so why wear a stained smile? You would bleach the white shirt back to its original state and now you can bleach your teeth back to their original state.
Bleaching with Veneers and/or Crowns: Dark, crowded, chipped teeth can be beautiful again using many different methods. The method used all depends on the remaining healthy tooth structure. Dental Work that Doesn't work: If you have you ever noticed a dark line around the gum of someone's tooth and thought that that was the way dental work should look, you are wrong.
Large Fillings and Crowns/Onlays: Sometimes our teeth end up with a filling that is large and the tooth's structure becomes weak, breaks and then the tooth ends up needing to be restored. Crowns and onlays can look just like your tooth did before the large filling.
Want a Perfect Smile: You can have it with Veneers or Crowns. Crooked Teeth: Do you think that you have to wear braces for two years to straighten teeth? Maybe not, here is a case of teeth straightening using veneers.
Gaps in your teeth or a chipped tooth: Do you have some small gaps between your teeth or a tooth with a small chip? This can be fixed with bonding material that is natural and will make you smile more.
Silver Fillings: In the past and still today, dentists use filling material (amalgam) that contains mercury, which is unsightly and tells the world how many fillings you have. Today, resin and ceramic materials are mercury free and look natural - not to mention that the material is stronger than the old mercury type. Missing a tooth? Have an empty space? In some instances, patients choose not to fill an empty space with an implant. All is not lost because there is a procedure called bridging that allows the space to be filled.
Gummy Smile: Sometimes too much gum shows when you smile and this can be corrected with gingival lift using a laser.
Just say No to Dentures: Did you have your teeth replaced with dentures and wish there were other choices? There are. If you have a concern and do not see it addressed here, please let us know info@dr-shannon.com |
